APEX Christian Academy is bringing a new, innovative option to education in Sumner County! While we started last year (2021) with only classes for 7th-12th grade students, we are now also offering elementary enrichment classes for 1st-6th grade students!
We offer tutorial, hybrid, and virtual classes for homeschool students. The mission of this homeschool tutorial academy is to supplement the needs of the Sumner Co., TN homeschool families. Homeschooling is not for the faint of heart, and we parents can use all the help we can get. For years, if a homeschool parent in Sumner Co. wanted to add resources for their children, their options were limited, but APEX Christian Academy is poised to help solve that dilemma. We offer first-class tutoring, high-quality fine arts, competitive sports, and much more. Above all, we offer all of this from a deeply rooted, Biblical approach.
We meet once a week, but you get a whole lot more than just that! Teachers use a Learning Management System called Canvas to stay in communication with parents and students throughout the week. It's like having the benefits of a 5 day-a-week school without the hefty price tag and time commitment. If you have been part of a different tutorial, we think you will be happy with the difference you'll find at APEX. We are experienced, flexible, and innovative; and we are ready to invest in your family. APEX stands for Authentic Partnerships Equipping for eXcellence, and we would love to partner with your family in the training of your children.
How it Works
You will select the classes that you feel best suit your needs, then you will pay only for those classes.* We understand the skyrocketing cost of private education, and we want to offer you a solution that works. In return, you will receive quality tutoring from qualified teachers and tutors.
*There is a separate registration fee as well as a sports participation fee.
Legal Notice
We are not a homeschool umbrella or state-certified school. All students are required by law in the state of Tennessee to be registered as homeschool students in one of three ways. 1.) As an independent homeschool. 2.) With an accredited online school. 3.) With an umbrella school. We highly recommend the fine people of Restoring Hope Academy to fulfill this role for you. We are board run
At APEX, you will have peace of mind, knowing that there is a qualified board of directors helping lead and guide the school down the proper path. We are seeking to become a 501c3 non-profit organization. Lord willing, we will accomplish this by the beginning of the 2022-20223 school year.
